Words cannot express how grateful and humbled I am by the confidence and support that you have given me! Over the past few months, I’ve talked with hundreds of voters who were concerned about the current Board and the direction the District was heading.  The outcome of this extremely close election is a message to the Board to change its direction and work to secure a stronger public education system and a better future for the families in Douglas County. This was a tough battle, and we came very close to winning with the help of hundreds of individual supporters and an all-around terrific campaign team.

Thank you for everything each and every one of you has done to support my candidacy. The fight for better schools doesn't end with the 2011 election. It's up to all of us to help keep the Douglas County School District performing at a high level.  I hope you will join me and continue to work together to ensure that every child has access to the best public education system in the state of Colorado. I know we can do it if we work together.
